Our mission

Spreading Buddhist wisdom, igniting inner strength, and helping all who come here find inner peace.

Dharma Treasure Monastery is a non-profit Buddhist monastery in Queens, New York, with temples in Elmhurst and Corona, founded in 2005 by Venerable Master Faxin (法性法师). Our practice draws on the Amitabha Sutra, the Lotus Sutra and the Shurangama Sutra, joining traditional teachings with everyday life through meditation, scripture study and communal practice. All are welcome, free of charge.
